SPDX standardizes how source code conveys its copyright and licensing
information. See https://spdx.github.io/spdx-spec/1-rationale/ . SPDX
tags are adopted in many large projects, including things like the Linux
kernel.
Replaces them with forward declarations of used types, or removes them entirely if they aren't used at all. This also replaces certain Common headers with less inclusive ones (in terms of definitions they pull in).
This is good for a couple of reasons: one, it gets rid of duplicated code,
and two, DSP emulation shouldn't need to interact with audio in the first
place.
